But there would be consequences for them if they disobeyed God.

They made the wrong choice and disobeyed God.  Why did this happen? Satan, the enemy of god, who cannot give life, hates sex, deceived Adam and Eve to disobey God.

  What are some of these consequences?

 1. DEATH.  Not just physically but also spiritually and in their relationship with God and each other.

 2. PSYCHOLOGICAL Realising they had disobeyed God they were ashamed of their naked bodies and hid from God and from each other.  From that time sexuality has been affected and now we have often associated sex with guilt and shame.

 3.PHYSICAL – some people have been affected in their sexual organs, such as hermaphrodites, born with both sex organs.  Some are born sexually infertile, or do not mature sexually. Today there are many sexual diseases as well as unnatural sexual behaviours, such as rape, child sexual abuse, etc.
