1. It destroys the image of God in people. Genesis 1: 26 -28.
2. It is addictive.
3. It is anti Christian and anti God.
4. Usually pornography is judged by the courts as obscene is therefore it is illegal, and breaks the law of the land.
5. Christianity gives a place of honor to women and children. Pornography suggests women; children and even men are only for sexual pleasure.
6. It leads to idolatry- the worship of sex. We must only worship the Lord - not sex Matthew 4; 10
7. Pornography and greed for money feed on each other. They are partners in evil. 1 Timothy 6; 10
8. Pornography is against Gods plan for sex for nakedness is only in marriage. We must not look on anyone else's nakedness Genesis 2; 25, Leviticus 18.
9. Pornography destroys normal human relationships. Colossians 3: 5-14
10. It threatens the good family and godly values of both Western and Eastern society.
11. It raises the suggestion "Only a REAL man/ woman is sexually attractive or you are only of value if you have a nice body."
